As you may have noticed, my name is Brian, and I'm a software developer living near Denver, Colorado. I've been developing in Flex a lot lately and thought that I'd revisit my portfolio Web site and use some of the experience I've obtained doing so.

Please start with the menu items at the left, the buttons there represent areas of interest or offer samples of my work in those categories. If appropriate, a media browser will appear at the bottom of the application. Click on any of the items in the media browser to view its corresponding media item. If the media browser doesn't appear, then you've navigated to an area where it's not appropriate to browse media thumbnails. Once you've selected a media item to view, a property editor may appear on the right edge of the media stage. These properties show information about the media object you're viewing.

Known issues with this site:

• Volume control does not work for Multimedia (Flash) files.
• Streaming audio is not stopping when navigating to a new media area. (please use mute button in the top-right corner in the interim).
• Video doesn't resize properly. Site is best viewed at 1024x768 or larger.
• Images don't always resize to the stage size.
• Image load progress bar sometimes displays at the bottom of the control instead of the middle of the stage.
• Fisheye component becomes off-center after category filtering in the graphic design area.
